Damon Braces

It’s More Than Just a Bracket.

Passive self-ligating braces that are much more gentle to the teeth.
High-technology wires that move teeth much faster and require far fewer adjustments.
A clinically proven treatment approach that aligns the teeth and enhances facial aesthetics – usually without extractions.
Other styles of braces use elastics or active clips that “bind” arch wires in place. Elastics and active clips used to hold wires in can act like parking brakes. They cause friction and pressure, making treatment slower and less comfortable.
Damon System braces use a passive slide mechanism that eliminates the friction and binding, so we can use lighter forces slide to move teeth.

What is a Board Certified Orthodontist?

A board certified orthodontist is a dentist who has completed an American Dental Association accredited graduate program in the specialty of orthodontics.
A dentist who graduates from a specialty program becomes an orthodontic specialist who is eligible to become board certified through the voluntary examination process of The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).
Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of the orthodontist's pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence.

Why see an Orthodontic Specialist?

1. Personalized and specialized treatment, for the best possible results.

2. Orthodontics is their Specialty

a. Their practice is limited to Orthodontic services only. Braces is ALL they do

b. Their specialty training and certification permits them to consider a broad range of different kinds of treatment.

3. Only an Orthodontic Specialist has University based specialty training in supervised residency programs over 2-3 years, in addition to Dental School. This training combined with years of experience will help you make the best decision for yourself or your child.

4. A beautiful smile reflects self-esteem and confidence for the patient.

I love my new smile. It's something I had always wanted to see, everything & everyone else had taken precedence!
As I got older, the only "Dr" I would have trusted to believe in an "old gal" was Dr.Hoffman, he's the best! His office staff are friendly, professional and proficient. This was an opportunity to share Orthodontics with my daughter too!
~Sally E.

I thought the treatment went really well. The staff was great.I had the braces on even shorter than I thought, and my results were really good.I love that I only have to wear my retainer at night! Thank you so much! ~Rachel G.
